Grounding the fantastic in traditional materiality and techniques is the throughline of my work. I’ve found it impossible to express this combination in a single medium; instead I spread my artistic process over printmaking, textiles, costuming and photography. My lingerie work in particular concerns itself with the trans body as architect of its own fantasy — rather than subjected to outside fantasy or fetishization.
This is my first time having my work curated, and it was strange to have someone pick the best ‘images’ as I prefer to consider myself a ‘maker of things.’ The images are simply documentation — giving me something to chew on for future series.
